| Luncheon with President Sejdiu |

January 27, 2010 - American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo organized today a luncheon with his Excellency – President of Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu and its member companies.
The President addressed members of AmCham saying that it is the duty of the Kosovo institutions to build further on the legislative corpus and to enable law enforcement in all the links of the state power, particularly in those of economy and rule of law, in building the proper state strategy for the economic development of the country. President Sejdiu added that there can be no good business and business development if there is room for bad phenomena, and if no space is given to the fair and loyal competition. On the other hand, the executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Lekë Musa, voiced confident that American Chamber will have the support of the President in significant issues such as, further reformation of the Law on procurement, reformation and improvement of the Tax Administration, and facilitation of bureaucratic procedures, hindering the economic development of Kosovo. AmCham member companies had the opportunity to raise and discuss their concerns with President Sejdiu. |
