MTPT changes its instruction on banning heavy vehicle movement |

July 22, 2010 - As a result of the joint AmCham and KCC advocacy in regards to the recent instruction on banning of the movement of vehicles heavier than 3.5 tons, the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTPT) has reacted positively by changing the instruction on weight limitations. As a result, the vehicle weight limit has now been increased to 12.5 tons and the timeframe of vehicle movement prohibition has been shortened from 10.00-18.00. |

July 21, 2010 – After rendering of the instruction for temporary banning of the movement of vehicles heavier than 3.5 tons on main and regional roads in Republic of Kosovo to, the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and Kosovo Chamber of Commerce calls on the Ministry of Transport and Post Telecommunications (MTPT) to review this instruction rendered on July 20, 2010, because of the difficulties and barriers it will cause to various business enterprises in Kosovo. |

AmCham and Usaid SEAD Program sign arbitration MoU to boost foreign investments |

Pristina, July 14, 2010 – In an effort to strengthen the business environment for greater foreign investment, the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo (AmCham) and the USAID|Kosovo Systems for Enforcing Agreements and Decisions (SEAD) Program, signed a Memorandum of Understanding today to establish an Arbitration Tribunal at AmCham for the binding resolution of commercial disputes. |
