Prishtina, January 23, 2019 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and Business Consultants Council (BCC) have signed a memorandum of cooperation which will serve as a bridge in creating opportunities and social and economic development.
This agreement will generate new opportunities in the consulting industry and the private sector by organizing networking events, advocating the roles of standards and certifications, empowering and increasing medium and small enterprises’ capacities and performance with professional programs, digitalization of sectors, industries, and business processes.
AmCham Executive Director, Arian Zeka, mentioned that the institution he leads will provide support to the only association that represents management consulting in Kosovo, Business Consultants Council, and that they are open to cooperation opportunities.
During this meeting was also discussed about organizing the Global Consulting Week, which will be marked in June 2019 by BCC, as a parallel activity with 50 countries worldwide which will promote the importance of selecting specialized consultants.
Representatives from both institutions, AmCham Executive Director, Arian Zeka, and BCC Executive Director, Jehona Lluka, agreed on working in achieving the goals set in the agreement which will encourage, promote, and support economic cooperation between their members, experts, and professional teams, with a common interest.
BCC is the only association in Kosovo for ethics and professionalism in the consulting market in Kosovo and in the International Council Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) which includes 2 million consultants worldwide.
