AmCham concludes GEW 2022 with a discussion on the importance of networking for success

Pristina, November 18, 2022- The power of networking is essential for building a successful base and the creation of personal values. Networking is essential as it will help you develop and improve your skill set, stay on top of the latest trends in your industry, meet mentors, partners and potential clients and gain access to the necessary resources you will promote your career development. This was the main conclusion of a panel discussion on the importance of networking for success, organized by the American Chamber on the last day of the Global Week Entrepreneurship.

CEO of Kutia company Arianit Fazliu, said that networking is important first for the individual, family, and then society and finally business. He also emphasized that even more challenging than the creation of networking and people contacts, is maintaining networking. At a time when every job demands commitment and dynamism, it is very difficult to maintain the established contacts. He mentioned that networking is not always positive, especially in times when the influence of the so-called “bad role models” is very large.

Uranik Begu, Executive Director of the Innovation Center of Kosovo (ICK) spoke about the importance of networking in social networks with special emphasis on the LinkedIn social network. He stated that in this application as a result of networking can also find employment opportunities. He paid special attention to the idea of the transformation of the mindset to a level where the person gives more than he receives. He also expressed that the main step to success is networking, not forgetting the importance of education and skills.

On the other hand, Valon Canhasi, CEO of the company Hallakate, showed the journey from the perspective of a CEO and how networking has helped him and his company succeed in finding workers, partners. He mentioned that through networking, the opportunity is given to the company within the company to be as familiar as possible. Also, he emphasized that participation in various events and activities is the main strategy to create as big a circle as possible, but also social media more and more influence the development of networking.
