Prishtina, January 19, 2024 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo held the Annual Meeting of the General Assembly with a remarkable turnout of 125 delegates from member companies. The agenda included voting of the 2023 Reports and the Annual Program and Supporting Budget. Also, the election of the new Titled Members of the Board.
Blin Zeqiri, representing One2tek LLC, is the new President of the Board of Governors. Besarb Blakaj, representing AAB College, has been elected as the Vice President, while Lorik Zejnullahu of Birra Peja takes on the position of Secretary General. Shpend Bytyqi, representing Tenzor, now serves as the Treasurer.
In his speech, Arian Zeka, the Executive Director of AmCham, presented comprehensive reports on the organization’s activities and finances for 2023. The proposed Annual Program and Budget for 2024 were also unveiled. Zeka expressed gratitude to AmCham’s members for their loyalty, and the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo for their ongoing support and underscored pivotal role of AmCham in in Kosovo’s economic growth.
In a short but impactful inaugural speech following his election, Blin Zeqiri expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the Board and conveyed his enthusiasm for building new connections. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts within the organization and officially concluded the meeting.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo looks forward to a successful term under the guidance of its newly elected Board Members.
