Prishtina, February 8, 2022 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo held today the
inaugural meeting of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Committee. The committee will inter
alia address the specific issues of the companies of this sector and promote companies in particular
and the entire industry in general.
The members of the new committee spoke about the importance of establishing this committee and
said that it includes, not only the sector of information technology and/or services, but also carries
many other aspects and areas of better promotion of the country.
The objectives, which among other things include recommendations and improvement of legal
aspects and the promotion and good image of businesses operating in this field were discussed
during the inaugural meeting.
Members also elected Fatos Ameti from Sonnecto, as the chair and Shpresa Kika from Sutherland as
vice- chair, with a one-year mandate.
