Prishtinë, January 9, 2019—The Foundation of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo donated IT and other equipment and to the Vocational High School “Adem Gllavica” in Lipjan.
The donation includes computers, chairs, and a printer, and it will also provide basic equipment for a laboratory in order to help students practice in subjects regarding economy and entrepreneurship.
On this occasion, AmCham Executive Director, Arian Zeka, said that such initiatives aim on improving the environment for students in schools in Kosovo in order to prepare them for the labor market, whereas thanks to the continuous support of AmCham members, these initiatives will continue during 2019 as well.
This initiative was also supported by these companies: IPKO, Meridian, Coca Cola HBC, Limak-Prishtina International Airport, Gjirafa, American Clinic, NLB Bank, Railtrans and Orbico.
AmCham Foundation functions since 2012, through which a considerable amount of funds is raised for the purpose of educating youth, especially in rural areas in Kosovo.
