Prishtina, June 28, 2017 – With the purpose of intensifying economic and trade partnership between Kosovo and Iowa, the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo hosted a delegation of Greater Des Moines Partnership business association, which represents 6000 member companies.
The business delegation from Iowa, led by David Maahs, met with companies from the Information Technology sector to learn more on the potentials that this sector can provide for American businesses, particularly in the area of business process outsourcing.
Throughout the meeting, AmCham members had the opportunity to exchange their experiences and the challenges their businesses continue to deal with, including access to finance for start-ups, as the main challenge for one business to develop and grow.
American Chamber of Commerce has a close partnership with some organizations in Iowa aimed to strengthen Sister States Partnership between Kosovo and Iowa.
