Prishtina, October 16, 2015 – AmCham Alternative Dispute Resolution Center concluded the Arbitration Week 2015 with the event organized for students of Universum College, which resulted with great interest and participation of them.
Secretary General of AmCham ADRC, Anjezë Gojani shared with participating students her professional experience in this field, relating it with the important role of arbitration and mediation as alternative mechanisms for resolving business disputes. Considering that in addition to practice, arbitration and mediation are also very common in academic world, the interest for studying in this field is increasing constantly. Therefore, Ms. Gojani also presented on numerous career and further study opportunities available in this field.
Further, Gojani assured students that ADRC will provide them support in this regard, and after being included in the list of ADRC students, they will be informed regarding academic opportunities in this field, including study scholarships and competitions with simulated cases.
Students had the opportunity to conduct a very interactive discussion with the lecturer on different topics related to the arbitration, and learn more about the difference between arbitration and regular courts. Another important topic, was also the discussion regarding study opportunities in this field, where students expressed a very high interest through their questions and comments as well.
