Prishtina, November 14, 2023 – AmCham Kosovo kickstarted the 2023 Global Entrepreneurship Week with a unique event “Ready, Set, Design!”, an initiative that provided the opportunity for high school students from the Finnish School of Kosovo and the Ahmet Gashi High School in Prishtina to showcase their creative talents.
The students were organized into groups of three and assigned the task of generating innovative ideas to address the challenge of “purifying water from a stream” using only common everyday items. The primary objective of this activity was to nurture the creativity of young minds and establish enduring connections with the bright and innovative minds of the future.
Following the presentation of their prototypes, the students participated in a voting process to determine their favorite project from each group. The Finnish School students secured the first position, and each team member was awarded a book on entrepreneurship.
The American Chamber of Commerce expresses enthusiasm in organizing an event that not only allowed young students to explore and showcase their creativity but also emphasized the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the next generation.
