Prishtinë, November 14, 2018 – Students at the Vocational School “Adem Gllavica” in Lipjan were also part of the numerous events organized during the Global Entrepreneurship Week where they learned more about the challenges in entrepreneurship and its role in our society.
In cooperation with the Regional Development Agency – Centre (RDA-C), the American Chamber of Commerce organized a lecture for the students at this school, during which they had the opportunity to hear the success story of Kujtim Gjerovi, owner of the manufacturing company of plastic products “SCAMPA”. He spoke about the challenges he and other manufacturers in Kosovo faced, but despite them, he advised the youth to engage in entrepreneurship, since this is the sector where they can do great things not just for themselves, but for others as well.
Whereas, Mrika Gashi from ARDA informed the participants that they can be provided with financial support for their potential business ideas, while Arian Zeka encouraged youth to have faith in the opportunities that Kosovo offers to them and to not see emigration as the only option.
Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kosovo is organized under the leadership of the Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK), a week during which 170 countries worldwide organize various events on the role of entrepreneurship.
