Kosovars have the entrepreneurial spirit in comparison to entrepreneurs in other countries

Prishtina, November 13, 2021 – Linda Shala, entrepreneur and vice-president of Women’s Chamber of Commerce was the next guest to discuss the inclusion of women in entrepreneurship and young entrepreneurs in general.

Andina Vllahiu Kelmendi, Policy and Communications Manager at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo mentioned the challenges of women’s participation in the Kosovo market in the past and even today.

Entrepreneur and vice president of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Linda Shala talked about the challenges she had faced in the past and the difficult conditions, as well as the dismissal at a young age. She said that Kosovars have a developed entrepreneurial spirit compared to other countries who are still raising awareness to promote this. Shala said that young people should be more involved in their education, as well as in additional training, emphasizing that “entrepreneurship is a choice and when a person decides to make this choice requires greater commitment.”
