Prishtina, February 20, 2019 – Tax Administration of Kosovo will continue the cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo in order to maintain the close partnership between them, and it will be engaged in improving the environment of doing business in general.
This was said today during the Breakfast for Executives organized with the new General Director of Tax Administration of Kosovo and leaders and members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo.
TAK General Director, Ilir Murtezaj, said that he will be committed in creating better relations with taxpayers, encouraging them to directly report their issues and challenges in TAK, pledging to effectively address them. He said that TAK plays a crucial role in improving the environment of doing business for which he said will be his priority.
Murtezaj said that he will continue the close cooperation with AmCham but also with other private sector representatives, while also mentioning the issued public explanatory decision on tax treatment of long-term construction contracts as a step in overcoming this problem for businesses in the construction sector.
AmCham leaders and members pledged to also work for a constructive partnership with the Tax Administration of Kosovo considering the fact that this institution along with Customs are amongst the most important institutions in business operations.
