Prishtina, July 20, 2016 – The services sector and the development potential that it presents for the country’s economy was the focus of discussions in the Morning Coffee, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo.
Through this informal meeting, AmCham members pertaining to the Small Business membership level had the opportunity to understand from representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry how the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union can be utilized to increase export of services and improve the balance of payments.
Recognition of different professional qualifications were considered a crucial challenge for the export of services from Kosovo, while it was emphasized that this issue will be addressed with the new Law on Services.
