Prishtina, February 23, 2022 – The Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce held its next meeting, part of which, as an external expert will be the representative from the Tax Administration of Kosovo Sami Salihu.
Sami Salihu, Director of the Department for Registration and Taxpayer Services at Tax Administration of Kosovo expressed his readiness and that of the TAK to cooperate with businesses and said that they are ready to offer their full contribution and advice on any innovations or changes that may be in the interest of the business sector. Salihu further said that the American Chamber of Commerce, its members, and all taxpayers are considered close partners and that such discussions between TAK and taxpayers can serve the benefit of businesses. He added that the partnership between the two parties will lead and assist in identifying problems and the easiest and fastest solution of these problems.
In this meeting, the members of this committee expressed their concerns regarding the control of the Tax Administration and the legislation and administrative instructions by giving their recommendations. Furthermore, in this meeting, the 2022 objectives of this committee were also discussed.
