North Mitrovica, November 14, 2018 – Events within the Global Entrepreneurship Week were organized also in IBC-M College in North Mitrovica where students learned about the numerous opportunities that arise from entrepreneurship.
Regional Development Agency – North (RDA-N), American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and Innovation Center Kosovo (ICK) organized a discussion in Mitrovica with a group of students from different ethnicities which consisted of many opportunities that come from youth engaging in entrepreneurship. Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, Arian Zeka, said that despite the challenges the private sector faces, youth should be focused in entrepreneurship and not see public sector as the place where they can be employed. Visar Idrizi, owner of Vi-Print, talked about the challenges he faced in entrepreneurship and the risks he took in order to establish a successful business. He encouraged students not to be restrained by the challenges they might face.
Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kosovo is organized under the leadership of the Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK), a week during which 170 countries worldwide organize various events on the role of entrepreneurship.
