Prishtine, November 22, 2019 – As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the American Chamber of Commerce organized the event “Startup Success Stories” where successful entrepreneurs Agon Avdimetaj from Zombie Soup and Rron Cena from Formon talked about their experiences since the establishment until the development of their businesses.
Agon Avdimetaj, founder of Zombie Soup, shared with the audience his journey towards the development of the company and the many challenges he faced. He stated that start-up is a very unsafe and unstable field but one has to be passionate and committed because everything is achieved while possessing these traits. He stated that one’s potential is seen when they try to create something in order to help the others.
Whereas, Rron Cena, founder of Formon, stated that before starting a business it is very important to define the market because every entrepreneur should focus on developing a business in a field that is not present or is underdeveloped. He added that the team plays a crucial role in the success of a business and advised young people to be careful when selecting their teams. Cena also emphasized that Kosovo offers advantageous conditions to establish a business considering that taxes are extremely favorable.
Both panelists encouraged the youth to get involved in entrepreneurship since according to them entrepreneurship is a long-term job and offers many opportunities.
